Storage groups are a collection of devices that are stored on the storage system, and an application, a server, or a collection of servers use them.
About this task
This procedure explains how to view storage group performance against service levels over a time period.
Before you begin:
- The user must be a StorageAdmin.
To view service level compliance reports:
Steps

Select the storage system from the all systems dashboard.
The storage system dashboard is displayed.

Select
SG COMPLIANCE.

Within the
Compliance panel, click
VIEW COMPLIANCE REPORT.

Customize the report by doing the following:
- Select the time period. For the time period you select, the compliance of the storage group is assessed in 30 minute intervals, and then its overall compliance state is displayed based on the method that is described in
Service level compliance. For example, if you select
Last 24 hours, the compliance state of the storage group is assessed 48 times, and then its calculated compliance state is displayed in this report.
- Click
and select whether to view the compliance information as a chart or as numbers.
The following properties display:
- Storage Group—Name of the storage group
- Service Level—Service level associated with the storage group
- % Stable—Percentage of time the storage group performed within the service level target
- % Marginal—Percentage of time the storage group performed below the service level target
- % Critical—Percentage of time the storage group performed well below the service level target
The following controls are available:
- Export—Save the report as a PDF file
- Schedule— Create Compliance Reports
- Monitor— Performance Dashboards
- Display Charts—Display the report information in chart format.
- Display Numbers—Display the report information in numerical format.
- Last week—Display the report for the last week.
- Last 2 weeks—Display the report for the last two weeks.
- Last month—Display the report for the last month.
- Last 3 months—Display the report for the last three months.
- Last 6 months—Display the report for the last six months.
